Process unit

Naphtha Hydrotreater Unit

The Naphtha hydrotreating process employs a catalyst and a hydrogen-rich gas stream to decompose organic compounds containing sulfur, oxygen, and nitrogen found in the naphtha fraction. The desulfurization process uses a catalyst combined with hydrogen. Once hydrotreated, the naphtha is divided into light and heavy straight-run components. The heavy straight run is directed to the reformer unit, while the sweet light naphtha is stored in tanks.

Reformer Unit

The Reformer Unit enhances the quality of lower octane heavy naphtha, transforming it into high octane using a catalyst and a hydrogen-rich gas.

Saturated Gas Plant

This unit divides the feed into propane and butanes through a distillation and separation process. Lighter components, such as methane and ethane, are channeled to serve as fuel gas.

Support systems

Utilities

This crucial unit supplies the refinery with varied resources such as different steam types, cooling water, fire water, RO/Demin water, and compressed dry air.

Instrument and Plant Air System

Drawing from the atmosphere, the Instrument and Plant Air System compresses air to be used both for instruments and plant operations.

Cooling Water System

This system circulates water to various processing units, offering cooling solutions to process streams. It's enhanced with a proper chemical program ensuring efficient water consumption.

Nitrogen System

The Nitrogen System sources liquid nitrogen from suppliers and operates a nitrogen plant, ensuring consistent distribution to various processing units.

Electrical Supply System

Focused on self-sufficiency, this system generates internal power using diesel generators, adeptly managing load as per the refinery's requirements.
